Here we are in the Forbidden City. As you can see, it is quite slick on the old stone tiles.
If that was a Four Star restroom, I'd hate to see a two star. There was a waiting room in front of the restrooms, and those Chinese folks sure love to smoke in them and ruin the air quality.

At the Great Wall of China. See the watch tower in the background? We climbed to it, and then a little further. We weren't too proud of ourselves as a bunch of 60-something Germans passed us by.We are off to Changsha tomorrow at dark-thirty. We are still on schedule to meet Sarah on Monday at 10:00 a.m.

We will miss you at playgroup today, but hopefully it is the last one without Sarah! FYI, I only went in a 5 star bathroom - not bad, although I thought it was strange that they served beverages!
Great photos. So great that you guys are getting to experience so much of Sarah's birth country in perons before you even meet her.
Only a few more hours to go! I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!
Lucy told Mike this morning that she was going to China "next Sunday", so maybe she will see you there :)
